#36 Defective formed vertically and horizontally resorbed alveolar ridge is observed.
In order to reduce excessive bone level difference from adjacent teeth, vertical bone augmentation surgery was performed simultaneously with implant placement. Three months later, vertical enhanced alveolar bone and soft tissue around the implant has been accomplished comparing to before surgery. Due to this improvement, the final prosthesis harmonized the adjacent teeth could be fabricated. It would provide great advantage on periodontal management in the future.
